Berenberg: European insurers positioned to out-perform in “Goldilocks” market

European insurers are in a position to over-deliver on their strategic plan targets as the current “Goldilocks environment” sees average profitability return to 2021 levels with stable solvency ratios, although Berenberg has warned that M&A poses a risk to growth in cash distributions.
